FROM THE AUTHOR:  JACKSON SEVER

Having grown up in Norway, I was always passionate about writing, and impressed by the influence that it has on people and the decisions that they make in life. I love engaging in the projects that I work on, and I love diving headfirst into research and investigation during the creation of biographies.  I am especially passionate about helping those who have been imprisoned because of their political beliefs, or because of the political beliefs of those who imprisoned them.  To this point, my subjects have all been Norwegian and Eastern European.  TO CAGE A BUTTERFLY is the first in my 'Biography of a Political Target' series of American subjects.  This biography of KATHLEEN KOZINSKI is the first biography that I have published in the United States.                                                              I am very proud of this work, and I hope that you like it.
